- All Workshops are slated to begin VIRTUALLY, when restrictions are lifted many classes will begin to meet in person at Safety Town in Naperville. Please see individual class for details. Virtual Learning will still be available.

VIRTUAL SUMMER MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOPS
While the world takes a pause in gathering, Road Show hopes to keep the learning opportunities alive! All Virtual Learning will take place on ZOOM. A link to each class will be sent to families prior to the start of each workshop.
NUTS & BOLTS: Music Theory
Teaching Artist: Axel Hageman
Learn important elements of music theory: note values, scales, solfege, and rhythm with favorite Broadway tunes, Pop, and Classical Repertoire.

Broadway AUDITION Workshop
Teaching Artist: Tiffany Whalen
A snapshot into how to put together an awesome audition package for different types of musicals- how to choose repertoire, rehearse with an accompanist, make the perfect cut and how to present yourself! The art of auditioning is like no other!

Work scenes and songs from your favorite musicals! Each actor will be cast in at least two roles! Emphasis will be placed on acting within each song and scene and connecting to character within each story.

The Road Show Capellas - By Audition Only; For "Rising" Grades 7-12
Summer Show Choir; Capellas runs March - August 2023
Building Leadership Skills, focusing on intricate vocal stylings with both instrumentally arranged and a cappella work, performance techniques and fast-paced choreography, this auditioned group is an exciting next step for our advanced performers!
Capellas is now open to NEW PERFORMERS; we'd love to welcome you to our
Road Show ShoCo family!
This group will be asked perform at various events throughout the summer.

**Capellas looks a little different this year. We realize that summer-time is tricky with family vacations and other plans. Our hope is to have our Capellas set learned and choreographed by summer, so our summer rehearsals are brush-ups and cleaning, finessing and improving technique in vocals and choreography styles.
Cost: $120/month + Music/Materials + Costume Rental Fee for any new members
